In 2600 B.C.E., inclined planes formed as ramps, were used in one way and that was to raise the blocks of stone to make up the Great Pyramid. Between 1900 and 1400 B.C.E., Inclined Planes were also used to elevate and place large stone crosspieces at Stonehenge.
